Why I Do This Work

I started Knudson Insurance Team because I kept seeing the same problem: people turning 65, or already on Medicare, who had no idea what they were enrolled in or whether it was right for them. They'd get 40 pieces of mail during open enrollment and have no one they trusted to help them sort through it.

As an independent agent, I'm not employed by any insurance company. I represent multiple carriers, which means I can lay out every option available in your area and give you an honest comparison. My job is to help you make the best decision for your situation, not to hit a sales quota for any particular plan.

What I Specialize In

I help Idaho seniors with every kind of Medicare coverage. That means Medicare Advantage, Medigap, Part D drug plans, and Special Needs Plans for people with both Medicare and Medicaid (D-SNP) or chronic conditions (C-SNP).

I also help with Medicaid coordination. It's one of the most confusing parts of Medicare, and one where good guidance makes a real financial difference.

Working With Me

Most people come to me with three things: a list of their medications, the doctors they want to keep, and a number they can live with each month. From there I do the comparison work and walk you through what I found.

There's no pressure and no rush. My consultations are completely free, carriers pay agents a commission when a client enrolls, so you never pay anything extra for my help. And after you enroll, I'm still your contact for billing questions, plan changes, and your annual review.

I'm based in Idaho and have been for 7 years. I know which plans are actually available in your county, which providers are in-network, and what to watch out for during open enrollment each fall.

Outside of Work

I graduated from Centennial High School. Outside of work you'll usually find me with my wife Gracie, on a basketball court, or somewhere outside, Idaho makes that easy. The rest of my free time goes to friends and family.

I mention it because I think it matters who you're handing this decision to. I'm not a voice at a call center in another state. I live here, and the people I help are my neighbors.
